Mount Meru

Mount Meru is Tanzania's second-highest mountain and one of East Africa's most spectacular volcanic peaks, rising to 4,566 meters (14,980 feet) above sea level. Located within Arusha National Park, Mount Meru is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, rich wildlife, and rewarding trekking experience. The mountain is surrounded by diverse ecosystems, including lush montane forests, open grasslands, alpine meadows, and rocky volcanic terrain.
